 WHERE THE LOCAL DEVELOPMENT WIDELY RADIATES… ECE As a funds consultant:  @ Ali Myftiu School - In 1998, there were 250 students with the tendency to recede in the Ali Myftiu School in the city of Elbasan. The conditions of the school environment and in the production base were very difficult. The material base almost did not exist. ECE and Albanian Ministry of Education invested in this school to improve the quality of the preparation of the students. The workshops where the practices are being held are completely different from ten years ago. The Practice of Basics in the Electro-techniques and Car Techniques are invested to offer an instruction of the first and second level according to the European Qualification Framework. Every student has the possibility to individually practice in the work place, to use tools, books and practical guides. Teachers try to use their pedagogical freedoms. Today there are 900 students attending the Ali Myftiu School. Success! @ Vocational Education Center - A special attention is paid to the projects of this center. Albanian Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs for Equal Opportunities and ECE have invested in the kitchen and restaurant where short term courses are being conducted. The transport cost of the course participants from the villages is being covered by ECE. The training of the instructors as well as the administration support are the key to the development of this new center. ECE always reserves opportunities for this center. @ Business - Business of the city of Elbasan has appreciated the information on the level of the qualification of the employees, and expresses its interest in the reduction of the risks in the application of the new technology and pays for the employees to gain more and better skills when this affects directly in the certification of its product. Business asks from the employees more competences and better behavior especially when in contact with the client. In the contracts between business and schools, ECE is a guarantee for the quality of the trainings that they are looking for. Auto Garage Businesses in Elbasan have contributed in a special project: Now it can be learned more about the defects detection in the auto cars and also there are about 200 defects simulations that are available in Albanian language!
